An outstanding triple-threat at fullback, Najeh provided Miami with one of college foot-ball's finest "big backs"...Possesses a startling combination of size and speed...Has been a consistent threat as a receiver throughout his career...Bruising inside runner with a powerful leg drive and determination to punish defenders that get in his path...Crisp route runner who shows good body adjustment going for the off-target passes...Breaks arm tackles easily and has excellent short area quickness...Runs at a low pad level and has a low center of gravity through the holes as a lead blocker...Maintains balance and does an excellent job of keeping his shoulders square upon contact...Has large, soft hands and great ball awareness as a receiver out of the backfield...Developed into a devastating blocker in his senior season...One of the team's most respected leaders, he earned the team's Unsung Hero Award this season in recognition of his sacrifices and willingness to put team success ahead of individual goals...Finished his career with 830 yards and 13 touchdowns on 156 carries (5.3 avg.) and 381 yards with three scores on 35 receptions (10.9 avg.).

2001 SEASON
All-American second-team selection as a fullback by the National Sports Bureau...Winner of the team's Unsung Hero Award...Shifted to fullback, carrying 23 times for 54 yards (2.3 avg.) and three touchdowns...Caught 14 passes for 190 yards (13.6 avg.) and a pair of touchdowns...Led the skill position players with 60 knockdown blocks and also recorded a pair of tackles on special teams.

Penn State...Opened the season with a 28-yard touchdown reception.

Rutgers...Powered his way for a 3-yard touchdown run and provided the lead block on a 3-yard score by Clinton Portis.

Pittsburgh...Caught 3 passes for 60 yards, ran 4 times for 9 yards and opened a hole for Portis' 1-yard touchdown run.

West Virginia...Had a pair of receptions for 20 yards, 2 carries for 8 yards and made a cut block to drop free safety Shawn Hackett on a 6-yard touchdown pass from QB Ken Dorsey to tight end Jeremy Shockey.

Syracuse...Ran over All-American defensive end Dwight Freeney on a 3-yard touchdown run and also had a 9-yard reception.

Boston College...Caught 2 passes for 24 yards.

Washington...Ran for a 1-yard touchdown and made 2 catches for 33 yards, including a 15-yard score.

Virginia Tech...Closed out his career with a 7-yard rushing attempt and 2 receptions for 18 yards.

2000 SEASON
Recipient of Miami's Jessie Armstead Comeback Player of the Year Award...Rushed for 308 yards and four touchdowns on 65 carries (4.7 avg.) while rotating between tailback and fullback for most of the season...Showed versatility as a receiver out of the backfield with 15 catches for 149 yards (9.9 avg.) and a touchdown...Also had an assisted tackle on special teams.

Washington...Rushed 8 times for 55 yards with an 8-yard touchdown.

Rutgers...Gained 75 yards on 10 attempts and 27 yards on 3 catches.

Florida State...Caught 4 passes for 60 yards, including a 22-yard score.

Temple...Carried 12 times for 57 yards and a 1-yard touchdown.

Louisiana Tech...Contributed with a 10-yard scoring run.

Virginia Tech...Made an assisted tackle, had an 11-yard reception and collected 57 yards on 3 carries, including a 50-yard touchdown.

Boston College...Returned to amass 30 yards on 3 carries.

Florida (Sugar Bowl)...Ran for 6 yards and a touchdown, adding another score on a 2-yard reception.

1999 SEASON
Played in the Kickoff Classic against Ohio State...Carried the ball 13 times for 81 yards.

1998 SEASON
Rushed for 387 yards and six touchdowns on 55 carries (7.0 avg.) in ten games...Caught five passes for 41 yards (8.2 avg.) while serving as Edgerrin James' backup at tailback... Returned 12 kickoffs for 319 yards (26.6 avg.) and made a pair of solo tackles on special teams.

East Tennessee...Made his collegiate debut with 11 carries for 92 yards and touchdowns of 1 & 17 yards.

Cincinnati...Followed with a career-long 66-yard touchdown run, finishing with 92 yards on 8 attempts and a 22-yard reception.
