All-Southeastern Conference first-team choice by The NFL Draft Report...Shifted to middle linebacker, leading the team with a career-high 168 tackles (116 solos), including four sacks for minus 28 yards, eleven stops for losses of 44 yards and seven quarterback pressures...Deflected four passes...His 168 tackles rank fourth on the school's season-record list behind Andrew Coleman (174 in 1980), Chris Gaines (214 in 1987) and DeMond Winston (169 in 1989). Georgia Tech...Began the season with a 13-tackle (10 solos) effort.

Auburn...Posted 15 tackles (11 solos) as he sacked QB Daniel Cobb for a 6-yard loss and collected 3 stops behind the line of scrimmage.

Moved into the starting lineup at weak-side outside linebacker, ranking second on the team with 72 tackles (44 solos), including 2.5 sacks for minus 20 yards, two quarterback pressures and four stops for losses of 22 yards...Recovered three fumbles and deflected four passes.

Middle Tennessee...Began the year with an 8-yard sack and 7 hits.
Alabama...Added 6 tackles and an assisted sack for minus 4 yards.
Richmond...Posted 7 tackles, including one for a loss.

Played in every game as a reserve outside linebacker, seeing most of his action as the right wing on the field goal/conversion unit and on the punt rush & punt cover teams... Finished with 6 tackles, a stop for a 1-yard loss, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up.

1999 SEASON
Played in every game with the special team units, recording three tackles.
