2001: Was a first team All-SAC selection and a finalist for conference Defensive Player of the Year...only played in seven games due to injury but still finished the season with 26 tackles, five sacks (-47), five quarterback hurries and one forced fumble...led the team in tackles for loss with 10 (-97)...had a safety in the Mars Hill game and returned an interception 63 yards for a score in the Wingate game.
2000: All-SAC selection after he had 42 tackles, 16 tackles for -63 yards and seven sacks for -49 yards.
1999: Was eighth on the team in tackles with 50...led the team in tackles for loss with 16 for 89 yards...had 10 sacks for 76 yards loss..broke up three passes...All-SAC selection.
1998: Redshirted his freshman year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-State selection at North Miami High School.
PERSONAL: Steve is majoring in Pre-engineering.
