Packers Draft Party 2008
What: Fifth Annual Packers Draft Party.
When/Where: Saturday, April 26, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium. Doors open at 1 p.m.
Packers Appearing: President/CEO Mark Murphy, GM Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy. Packers players Atari Bigby, Jarrett Bush, Nick Collins, Mason Crosby, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Brandon Jackson, James Jones and Koren Robinson.
Features/Activities:
- Television coverage of the Draft will be broadcast on two large screens. This year's party will feature brighter screens. Other flat screen TVs will be located around the Atrium as well.
- An enhanced audio system also will be in place.
- WTMJ Radio will be on hand to provide additional analysis and interview Packers personnel and players.
- In addition to the action on the Atrium floor, the party includes seating in the Legends Club on the Atrium's fourth floor. Two large screen television screens will show draft coverage and beverage service will be offered.
- Draft Party is a Wi-Fi 'Hot Spot,' featuring free wireless internet access for attendees who bring wireless-enabled laptops.
- Limited seating with power outlets will be available, as well as battery charging stations.
- Several computer stations also will be available for fans to follow draft information online.
- Autograph sessions with Packers players. Upon entering, all attendees will receive a ticket for one randomly assigned autograph session that will include two players.
- "Stack Up to the Pros" - compare your own measurements (height, weight, hand size, shoe size, etc.) with those of your favorite Packers players.
- Packers Draft History Contest with prizes including Mills Fleet Farm gift cards.
- First-Round Draft Pick Contest: If your pick is the same as the Packers' choice, you'll win a football signed by the Packers' 2008 No. 1 pick (will be shipped to winner).
- Opportunity to view Lambeau Field.
- Commemorative 2008 Draft Party T-shirt for all attendees.
- "Be the Packers' No. 1 Pick" - a photo opportunity in which you appear as the team's No. 1 draft pick! Features a Packers press conference background, Packers jersey and podium. (Participants must use own camera.)
- "Packers Garage Sale" - features knick knacks and collector's items such as past issues of the Packers Yearbook and GameDay programs, as well as G-Force memorabilia and Packers media Guides.
- Free entry for a chance to win door prizes, including autographed Packers mini-helmets.
- Tickets for raffle prizes also will be available for purchase. Raffle items include autographed footballs and autographed Packers authentic helmets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Packers Foundation.
- Food and drink available for purchase at Curly's Pub, Hall of Fame Grill, Frozen in Time and Atrium eateries.
For Children: Interactive games and inflatables.
Tickets:
- Priced at $25 and available for purchase at Mills Fleet Farm stores across Wisconsin, through the Packers' ticket office (in person or over the phone at 920/569-7501) and at the Packers Pro Shop (in person or online). A lanyard will be distributed to each attendee upon entrance.
- Children 3 and younger are free.
- Fans will be allowed to exit and re-enter with their ticket.
- Parking is free.
