"When Reggie played for the Packers, there was nothing more impressive about him than the number of teammates and opponents who would join him on bended knee after the game in the middle of Lambeau Field to offer a post-game prayer. It showed how much he was a leader of many NFL players."

"Reggie was the greatest of all time. He will never be forgotten by so many of us. He died too young and the only reason I can imagine is that God didn't want to watch the Packers in the playoffs by himself. Thanks Reggie!"

"To the Whites:
Even though I personally didn't know Reggie, I felt like I did. After reading his book "In the trenches" when I was in high school, I felt like Reggie was speaking to me. He filled the book with so much love and scripture that just touched and blessed my heart. I still carry some of the thinghs that he wrote with me today. He was a great man of God and I felt that you should know that after reading his book, I turned my life back over to God. Thank you."

"I've been a Packers fan my whole life and was very happy when Reggie came to Green Bay. He gave us some wonderful memories on the field. I don't think you'll ever find a defensive lineman with more heart. What I loved most about him though was the servants heart he had off the field. He loved the Lord and he loved people. My prayers go out to his family and friends. We were all truly blessed by the life of Reggie White. Amen."

"Dear members of the White family--Reggie was a real example of the pure NFL player-The first NFL jersey I bought during my first visit to "title town" was a White #92. It will always be one of my most treasured Packer items in "the shrine" in my home."

"I've been a Packer fan since 1977 when I attended my first game in Green Bay Vs Houston and saw Ezra Johnson play his rookie year. I was proud of the past glory years and cheered through all the tough years until 1992 when Bob Harlan showed leadership in bringing Ron Wolf, Mike Holmgren, Brett Favre and Reggie White on, to help turn around our team. How fortunate we as fans have been all these past few years to experience Reggie and all the teams during this time. During all those years I grew up, got married, began raising a family and have had a successful career, but there is not a day that goes by that I am not inspired or thankful for what these men have done to bring joy, pride and appreciation into my life just as fans experienced during the 30's & 60's. Reggie was a great man, a great player. I saw Reggie when the Packers recognized him at the ESPN game against Tampa a few years ago and you could see how proud he was and how much he appreciated his teammates and fans. I only hope I can try to be half the father he was to my son, try to share wisdom that lasts a life time and be thankful for the joy he and all the Packers have brought over the past 13 years. I still see him bringing the team together before kickoff, hands together and breaking the huddle by saying "Dominate!!" To all past, current and future Packer players, coaches and staff...remember Reggie for his pride in how he played every week, gave back to everyone around him and brought unity to all. Brett Favre & Reggie White...perhaps the best players, leaders, teammates in the history of Green Bay, the NFL and professional sports. Thank you Reggie, blessings & prayers to your family and all those affected by loss this past year."

"I'm a fan that has always watched the Packers tru thick and thin . Remember the 70's 80's? When Reggie came to us I knew that we were going to be something super. He not only brought his talents but he helped to bring other players in. For that I am thankful. I will always remember the prayer sessions he had after the games with not only his own teammates but with players that we had just beaten. That shows just what a great man he was on and off the field. I love you Reggie . I know that all your work was not in vane. You are now with THE LORD! You have the best seats in the house! Your work will forever be special."

#92 Brought many cheers and much happiness to all in this life that he touched. You were also a huge reason why I'm a Packers fan today and I thank you that I am not a Vikings fan.You truley made Green Bay the purist football team in the NFL. "Dear Mrs. White, and Family,
Many years ago when my youngest son was about nine, I was thinking of what toy to give him to begin to instill in him the values of a true man of God, and my wife bought a Packer bear as a gift, and like God speaks through our children- my son said as soon as he saw the bear "Reggie White". What a tribute to have God bring the man of Reggie White to my son!
I will always remember watching Reggie play and speak like a man - man with Jesus Christ in his soul. May God Bless you and your family!
My family will continue to remember your family in our prayers especially at Holy Mass.

He was a truly genuine human being and as a packer fan he was an all-time great packer, I will always remember the handshake at St.Louis in 1996 after the Packer- Rams game, I will miss you Reggie but this world was better of to have had you for the short time it did than to not have had you at all."

"We met you while you were at the University of Tennessee. We watched you in the USFL with the Memphis Showboats. We followed you to Philly. We were overrun with joy with your going to the Pack (we have been huge packers fans for 35 years). We celebrated your retirement. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept your faith. May you always rest in peace at your eternal home. "Reggie White was a loving, kind man who was not ashamed to share his faith with the world. His heartfelt faith led him to boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever he went. During his life, he put others first by sharing love, faith, encouragement, and hope with so many people.

Now, he is in paradise with the Lord not because of anything he did, but because of his faith in Christ as his personal Savior. Hallelujah!

Thank you for being "salt" and "light" for all the world to see. Well done, faithful servant!

We love you, Reggie!"

"As a high school defensive lineman and a christian, there aren't a whole lot of people that are great, GREAT role models, but Reggie White was my role model and still is. He dominated on the field and was one of the best, but he seemed like an even greater man. Even though he's gone, his spirit lives on, and will continue to be a role model for many young athletes. I will truly miss Reggie White."

"While i didn't have the chance to know him personally, i did have the chance to meet him once. I brought my at the time 5 year old son to a sports memorbilia show where Mr. White was signing some autographs. when me and my sons turn came up, he spent a few moments talking about football with my son and then took a picture with us. It meant very much to me that he would take the time to stop and talk to someone he had just met like that and I know one day it will mean a lot to my son. The world has lost a great man, but his teachings and legacy will always live on."

"My husband and I are huge Packer and Reggie White fans. We both grew up in Wisconsin. I grew up in Wausau and my husband in Marshfield. We were a part of church which in fact had a special guest speaker one Sunday morning. His name was Reggie White. He was a great man of God. My heart goes out to his family. I lost my father at the age of 53. He died just 5 months before our wedding, the weekend after we got engaged. He died suddenly of a heart attack. I know how it feels to lose someone you love so much so young. I feel for his children. I still miss my father and always will. My father was a strong Christian and a huge Packer Fan and loved Reggie White and his testimony and straight forward way of sharing the gospel with all he came in contact with. May God be with you and bless you and remember He is always there whenever you need Him. Just call on Him and He will answer your prayers. God Bless!"

"I grew up in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and now am a Green Bay fan living in Montana. Reggie is an example of how a man should live, whether or not he possesses the talents and gifts that Reggie was given. I believe that the measure of a man's life is not in his gifts, but in his willingness to share them with others, contribute to the welfare of others, and remain humble in spirit. With God's help, Reggie measured high in all three categories. By those measures, his life (however short) had meaning. My condolences to his family and friends."

"Like many people who follow the NFL outside of the USA, Reggie White became a symbol of what of American Football was about: Play hard, respect your opponent and your teammates, and be humble in victory. Aside that he was a man of god and gave back to the community more than he received.

I speak for Green Bay fans in the the United Kingdom, that he will be forever missed.

Best wishes to his Family."

"It is sad and unfortunate that one of God's mighty warriors had to fall so soon. This week we all lose a man whose greatness and presence could not be denied. I was extremely fortunate to meet Reggie the day I received Christ in my life. Reggie insisted on calling me when he heard through a mutual friend that I had repented and turn my life over to Jesus. Reggie went out of his way that day on September 1st 1996 to call a complete stranger and encourage him in his new found faith. Two months later I had the privilege of being baptized by this gentle giant. The Lord has ways of making an impression on our lives and I believe He put Reggie in my life for a short but wonderful season to show me greatness and selflessness. Reggie was a kind man. I think his honesty was often misrepresented by the media and those who did not agree with his stance on morality. My heart goes out to Sara, her children and both Reggie and Sara's extended families. May the Lord's comfort surround them and may His peace overwhelm them during their time of loss. Thank you Reggie for allowing me the privilege of being your friend. Marc Branski"

"I offer my deepest sympathy to the family of the greatest MAN to ever don an NFL uniform, Reggie White. I will remember Reggie the Man just as much as Reggie the Sack Master.
What he did for the franchise of Green Bay, when he signed as a free agent, was monumental. He opened the door for other free agents to take a second look at Green Bay as a possible signing destination. He put Green Bay back on the NFL map.
Thank you, Reggie the Minister of Defense, for everything.
For all the work you did for God, he apparently needed you in heaven more than we needed you with us.

"To Sara and Family, the Green Bay Packer Family & Fans,

When I learned of Reggie coming to the Packers, I knew things would change and change for the best. It all came together with a Super Bowl win. With Reggie however, there always seemed to be more then football. It was his love for his Lord Jesus. After reading his book and learning more about Reggie. The things I learned affirmed his presence not just on the football field, but the mission field too. I have no doubt as many that Reggie loved the game but, it was his love for God that for him made the game and that allowed him to play the way he did. I also believe that Reggie would even show us how we can share in God’s gifts if we asked him to lead us. Yes, it is true that Reggie will be missed by many. Yet, for those who understood Reggie’s faith will celebrate his life and look forward to seeing him someday.

There is one last thought I would like to share and that is about the NFL Hall of Fame. We know that Reggie will not be present for that day when he is inducted but please remember this. Reggie has entered the Hall of the Lord God and he has been told, “Well done my faithful servant.” For Reggie that is what it was all about.

May God be with all and Jesus comfort us as we remember Reggie and pray for his wife Sara and family and friends

With our Prayers and thoughts,

"The Lord has received the ultimate free agent and more than just a Defensive End. Reggie epitomized the words found in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, one of Reggie’s favorite bible verses. Here is just the first verse, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I have become the sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.” I wrote Reggie in 1995 after the lost to the Cowboys in the NFC Championship game, where I asked him to keep the team together and have the Packers strive for the Super Bowl in the 1996 season. I believe he played a huge part in keeping the team together and focused in the season. I have retired Reggie’s jersey in my household to be adored on the wall in my Packer room with other Packer Greats.
My deepest condolences to Sara and the children. Reggie will truly be missed."

"I first had the opportunity to meet Reggie White on fan appreciation day. It was the fall of 1994, Reggie's first year with the team. Reggie signed an autograph for me and amidst the chaos(The line for Reggie was very long), I asked Reggie if it will be this crazy in heaven. I went on to say, "Reggie, I appreciate your stand for the Gospel, your a hero to us Christians. He looked up to me and said "God bless you." I said the same and immediately asked if I could get a picture w/ him... He obliged. I will miss Reggie White not as the athlete, but as the person who the Lord used to make a difference in many lives."

"Being a transplanted life long packer fan in Texas, i had the pleasure of meeting Reggie when i traveled to Washington D.C. to repair a aircraft, i walked into the private terminal and saw a man bigger than life with a bible in hand, in his busy schedule he took the time to say hello and shake my hand before he entered the chartered aircraft. I will never forget that handshake and i will never forget Reggie White! God has a wonderful angel and his number is #92!!"

"Reggie White is truly my favorite football player of all time. He played with such heart and soul and integrity. My favorite story is the story that Mike Holmgren phoned Reggie and said "Reggie, this is God and I want you to go to Green Bay." Then God sent Reggie to Green Bay and Packer football as we know it was forevermore changed for the better. God Bless you Reggie and God speed you on your journey to the next world."

"Reggie will always be remembered on and off the field as a true leader. Reggie touched many of us in many different ways not only was Reggie a true leader on the field he was a leader off the field. We we all miss Reggie and how he combined his spiritual beliefs with with his pro football career. In a society that sometimes has dificulty sorting out their priorites Reggie was always constant in his beliefs. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED!. I feel we all can learn a lot from Reggie and learn to help the less fortunate. My family sends our sincere condolences to Sara and the rest of the White family. God Bless Reggie for becoming a GREEN BAY PACKER"
