Green Bay vs. New Orleans - Postgame Quotes - New Orleans

Regular Season - Packers Win 31-7

HEAD COACH MIKE DIKTA:
(on his feelings about the game) "Pretty disappointing. We could have done a lot better. It comes down to execution -- that was disappointing.

"They're (Packers) a better team.

"I'm disappointed in the way the Packers ran the ball and we couldn't stop them. I'm really impressed with the way they moved the ball, but that's no excuse.

"We'll start evaluating the game Tuesday. I can tell you we're going to try to do better. There is no reason to go nuts over this game.

"We have to do something about moving the ball better."

(on the Saints' passing game) "This is the NFL where you are paid to catch the ball. You have to make those plays. That's why we pay what we do.

"My barometer is pretty low.

"They fooled us; they ran left and right.

"I was surprised at our play -- especially after going against the Bears and Vikings.

"(Lamar) Smith ran good. We should have given him more room."

(on the Saints' defense) "They ran on our first unit."

(on the play of Packers running back Travis Jervey) "He runs hard; I like him."

"The Packers have a good front line on defense. Reggie (White) is still one of the best. The linebackers are the best. I'm impressed with them."

(on the level of the Saints' play in the first quarter) "Tonight we didn't meet the challenge very well. When you can't get the ball back, you have a problem. We could have been more physical in this game."
