--Brett Favre's 62-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to Antonio Freeman gave him 24,720 passing yards in his career, breaking Bart Starr's all-time club record. Starr had 24,718 in 16 seasons (1956-1971). Favre now has 24,720 yards in his 8-year career.

--In the last five meetings, the Packers have outscored the 49ers in the first quarter 53-6.

--Freeman's second touchdown was the 30th TD reception of his career, tying him with Don Hutson for the most by a Packer in his first four seasons. This also was Freeman's fourth 100-yard receiving game this season, and the 11th of his career.

--The Packers' nine sacks are the most ever against Steve Young in Young's career. It is the most by Green Bay since October 24, 1965, against Dallas.

--Reggie White's three sacks give him 11 for the year and an NFL-best 187.5 for his career. This marks the 12th 10-sack season for White, an NFL record. His 11 sacks in eight games is his second-quickest to double-digits in his career. In 1987, he had 10 in six games, when he went on to notch a career-best 21 for the season. His career-best as a Packer is 13 in 1993.

--The Packers' safety was the first scored by Green Bay since Santana Dotson and Reggie White sacked Philadelphia quarterback Rodney Peete September 9, 1996.

--Safety Pat Terrell's interception in the first quarter was his first as a Packer and the 11th of his career.

--Robert Brooks' 30-yard touchdown reception was his longest catch this season, and his 31st career regular season touchdown.

--Keith McKenzie's blocked PAT in the first quarter is the first by a Packer since Matt Brock batted away the try of Raiders kicker Jeff Jaeger in Los Angeles November 11, 1990.

--Packers punter Sean Landeta kicked two punts inside the 49ers' 20. That gives him 17 inside the opponent's 20 this season, and 262 in his NFL career, including playoffs.

--Jervey's 95 yards is a career high. His fourth-quarter touchdown was the first of his career.

--Ryan Longwell's 45-yard field goal in the fourth quarter keeps him perfect for the season on field goal attempts, 12-12.

--Jerry Rice's first-quarter touchdown was the 80th all-time from Steve Young to Rice, an NFL record. The Miami tandem of Dan Marino to Mark Clayton had 79 scores.
