The inaugural Packers Fan Fest, scheduled for March 11-13, will feature programming elements from the team's television and radio partners.

The Packers' flagship radio station, Newsradio 620 WTMJ, will have a major presence during all three days of Fan Fest. Beginning Friday afternoon, Bill Michaels will interview Packers personalities during the sports segments of "The Green House" from 3 to 6 p.m. Michaels continues from 6 to 7 p.m. on "Sports Central," with more Packers interviews and Fan Fest preview information.

Saturday and Sunday programming, featuring Michaels and the radio voice of the Packers, Wayne Larrivee, will include question-and-answer sessions with Packers players and staff.

The Packers' television partner, CBS 5 WFRV-TV, is planning a half-hour kickoff program for Friday, March 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m., from the Atrium Broadcast Center. Larry McCarren, sports director at WFRV and analyst on the Packers Radio Network, will host the program which will feature previews of Fan Fest activities as well as interviews with prominent Fan Fest participants.

The telecast will be shown live in Green Bay and later that evening around the state on other Packers Television Network stations. Viewers are encouraged to check local listings for times in their area.

WFRV's "CBS 5 Saturday Morning" program, broadcast from 8 to 9 a.m., will be based from the Atrium Broadcast Center as well.

Fan Fest is a three-day celebration of Packers football for the whole family that will allow fans the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite Packers players, past and present, as well as coaching staff and front office personnel.

The weekend begins Friday evening, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., the event kicking off at 7 p.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m. Saturday's schedule calls for doors to open at 9 a.m. and activities running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday's schedule has doors opening at 9 a.m. with activities running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds will go to charity through the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
