Packers Waive Lucas, Little
posted 11/22/2005
The Green Bay Packers Tuesday waived wide receiver Chad Lucas and safety Earl Little, and released fullback Greg Hanoian from the practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement.
Lucas, promoted from the practice squad Nov. 9 to provide depth at wide receiver, made his NFL debut four days later at Atlanta. The team listed him as inactive Monday vs. Minnesota.
Little, an eighth-year veteran who had signed as a free agent during the offseason, had been placed on injured reserve (hamstring) prior to the Cincinnati contest last month. Before the injury, he posted two tackles in the team's first four games. |
