The Green Bay Packers placed guard Tony Palmer on injured reserve Thursday. The move was announced by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.
A 6-foot-2, 311-pound second-year player from Missouri, Palmer had played in the team's first two games this season. He saw action in six games as a 2006 rookie.
