Already thin due to injuries, the Green Bay Packers' offensive backfield took another hit Monday, when veteran fullback William Henderson was sent to the hospital due to a kidney stone.

Henderson was planning to take part in the Packers' closed practice at Lambeau Field Monday night, but less than 30 minutes before he was supposed to take the field, Henderson was instead taken to the hospital.

He was released within hours.

GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman said he expected Henderson to be sidelined for "a couple days." It's unknown whether Henderson will be available when the Packers open their preseason schedule August 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC-NFC Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.

Monday, the Packers were limited to practicing with Ahman Green and Nick Luchey at halfback, with rookie Tommy Collins taking reps at fullback.

Running backs Keith Burnell (hip), Najeh Davenport (hip), Tony Fisher (Achilles), Lamar Smith (knee) Adam Tate (knee) and Reggie White (knee) all were sidelined with injuries.
