Packers Fan Memories
![]() Read the 'Packers Fan Memories' archives or Submit your own favorite memory This Week's Photos Hey Packers fans, here's your chance to share with other fans from around the world your favorite memories of the Green and Gold! Each week, Packers.com will post a feature called 'Packers Fan Memories.' This week's edition includes an anniversary gift, some Lambeau Field first-timers, a meeting with a Packers Hall of Famer, and a warm Christmas for a fan from Alaska. ** Just when I thought the pre-season game vs. Cincinnati was the highlight of my life, my husband surprised me with an anniversary gift I'll never forget...a trip to Lambeau field. We took advantage of the entire Lambeau experience with the Hall of Fame and the stadium tour. To top it all off, the winning game vs. Arizona!! That is a beautiful stadium for sure, and the best part...Brett doing the Lambeau Leap! Thanks to my husband and the team for an anniversary I'll always remember. Go Packers!!!
Chandra -- Mount Sterling, Kent. I live in Alaska now, but am a cheesehead at heart. Last Christmas my grandma managed to get 4 tickets to the Packers/Vikings game. As if I didn't already have enough incentive to fly home for the holidays! I got to spend the entire day on the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau rather than that of Alaska. The best part of the day was spending it with my Dad, older brother and twin brother. The Packers are a big part of our family and it was so great to be there watching Brett and the crew with my family.
Katie -- Sun Prairie, Wis. I was able to make my third trip to "Fan Fest" this year, and was THRILLED when I was able to get my picture taken with the GREAT FUZZY THURSTON! I didn't have the necessary ticket to get his autograph, but I got it Saturday anyway! (Had I known, I would have had my film developed so he could have signed this photo!) It was the BEST Fan Fest so far! Thanks Fuzzy, and the Packers!
Alan -- Grafton, Wis. I grew up the son of a Packer fanatic in Bismarck N.D. and I inherited the fever. Now my daughter has the same Packer passion and it was a dream come true when she obtained tickets for us on the 40 yard line for this year's Packers/Lions game. The experience just to just be at Lambeau is a thrill I can't describe. We go to every Packers game here in Detroit, but from the tailgate party at Brett's Steakhouse to the experience being with thousands of Packer faithful, there is only one word to describe our trip to Lambeau.......AWESOME
Bruce -- Rochester Hills, Mich. While I have been to Lambeau several times before, including Brett's 200th start, my 10 year old son had not. This past season, we made our 1st trip to Lambeau together. When we first arrived, my son stop just before we crossed the threshold into the Atrium and insisted that we enter together. I will never forget that! We enjoyed a Packer victory vs. the Lions and the week before we went to Candlestick to see the 49er win. 2 Packer wins on consecutive Sundays!
