![]() Read the 'Packers Fan Memories' archives or Submit your own favorite memory This Week's Photos Hey Packers fans, here's your chance to share your favorite memories of the Green and Gold with other fans from around the world! This week's edition includes international visits from fans, a love for the Packers stemming from correspondence with Vince Lombardi, and a Thanksgiving spent cheering on the green and gold. Each week, Packers.com will post a feature called 'Packers Fan Memories.' ** This year I went to see my first Packers game ever. I was with my father. It was his first game, also. It was a magic moment that I will always remember. It was the game against St. Louis. It came so close...To see the players from so close was so incredible. Go Pack Go!
Dragann -- Montreal, Quebec, Canada My son, daughter and I drove 14 hours from Peterborough, Ontario. When we were approaching Green Bay and we could see the stadium in the distance, it brought tears to our eyes; I could hardly drive, we were so excited. The Hall of Fame, Pro Shop and Stadium Tour were even better than we expected. Our "pilgrimage" was the best trip of our lives and we're already planning next year's.
Peter -- Peterborough, Ontario, Canada My father has been a Packers fan for 42 years. He wrote several letters to Lombardi and coach answered back; the Barclay family have been Packer fans ever since. On Sunday, December 30, 2007, we had the chance to be at Lambeau for the first time in our lives. We'll never forget that moment and we hope to come back soon. Joy tears are still running on our faces...from Mexico with love, Go Pack Go!
Manuel -- Mexico City, Mexico
My girlfriend's first game at Lambeau -- she was converted into a Packer fan! Jay -- Joliet, Illinois We visited my wife's family in Michigan for Thanksgiving with our future daughter-in-law in tow and 4 game tickets in hand. The last and only time I took the kids to see the Packers, we were at the season opener against Tampa Bay that ended with the Super Bowl win over New England. Could it happen again? We hope history repeats itself -- 2 games we attend in person and two Super Bowl wins over New England!
