  • Broke his lower leg during first training camp practice of 2007 and was placed on injured reserve
  • An all-around athlete, was a key member of the coverage units and saw action as a reserve tight end in 2006 before a hamstring injury ended his season in Week 11
  • A four-year starter at Central Michigan (2001-04), played two seasons with current Packers defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins (2001-02). Also played in NFL Europe in 2006 with teammate Atari Bigby (Amsterdam Admirals)
  • Did not play tight end until the beginning of his freshman collegiate season; was named to the Freshman All-America team by The Sporting News in 2001
