Aaron Rodgers nominated for Air NFL Player of the Week

The NFL announced Tuesday that quarterbacks Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, andBen Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers are the finalists for the Air NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on October 23-24.

Fans can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com from 8 a.m. CST on Tuesday through 2 p.m. CST on Friday to determine the Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. The winners will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

A closer look at the Air NFL Player of the Week finalists:

Brees converted 31 of 35 pass attempts for 325 yards and five touchdowns in the Saints' 62-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. His five touchdown passes were the most of any quarterback on the weekend.

Rodgers completed 24 of 30 passes for 335 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers' 33-27 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Roethlisberger threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns in the Steelers' 32-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. His 361 passing yards were the most of any quarterback on the weekend.
