GREEN BAY – Aaron Rodgers is returning to "The Match."
This time around, however, the Packers' four-time NFL MVP will be teaming with Tom Brady instead of playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback like he did last year.
The two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks will play against Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo's Josh Allen at a 12-hole event at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas on June 1.
Last July, Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau defeated Brady and Phil Mickelson, 3 and 2, in the fourth installment of "The Match," held at The Reserve at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Mont.
The match utilized a modified alternate shot, where all four players teed off and each team chose one of its drives. Whoever didn't hit the drive, then hit the next shot.
After being tied with Mickelson and Brady through the first nine holes, Rodgers and DeChambeau dominated the back nine. The duo birdied, and won, three straight holes to pull ahead, before Rodgers' putt on No. 16 sealed the win for his team.
