GREEN BAY – The comeback starts now.

That was the hashtag Aaron Rodgers attached to his Instagram post after the Packers quarterback underwent successful surgery on his broken right collarbone Thursday.

Rodgers also thanked fans for their support after sustaining the injury on a hit from Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr in last Sunday's game against the Vikings.

The photo, which features Rodgers doing his trademark 'hang loose' hand gesture, generated more than 150,000 likes since it was posted overnight.

The Packers have said there's a chance Rodgers will miss the remainder of the season. Backup quarterback Brett Hundley will make his first NFL start this Sunday against New Orleans.

Surgery went well. Thanks for all the love, support, thoughts and prayers. #comebackstartsnow #riseagain #
