NOV. 17 AT PRO BOWL IN SUAMICO ALE HOUSE AND CONFERENCE CENTER

Green Bay Packers cornerback Al Harris will host the second annual Stars & Strikes, a celebrity bowling tournament with other Packers players, the evening of Nov. 17 at the Pro Bowl within the Suamico Ale House and Conference Center in Green Bay.

Harris will use net proceeds from the event to take several area children, from either the Pals Program or foster care unit of the Brown County Human Services Department, on a holiday shopping outing at which they'll be able to purchase gifts for their siblings, and their natural or foster parents, depending on their situation.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with registration and start of the silent auction. Dinner follows at 7 p.m., with bowling to begin at 8 p.m. The evening concludes at 10 p.m. with an awards ceremony. A live auction also is included in the evening.

Lane sponsorships and individual bowling tickets are available. Lane sponsorships, priced at $1,250, includes four players to be joined by a celebrity, along with four gift bags, a digital banner above the lane, dinner and beverages, plus four additional dinner tickets. Individual tickets, priced at $250, include a playing spot, a gift bag, plus dinner and beverages.

Tickets can be purchased via phone at 920/592-1167, ext. 202, via e-mail at events@athletesforcauses.org, or online at www.athletes4causes.org/upcomingEvents.
