The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Mark Chmuraand Craig Hentrichfor the Packers-Giants game on Sunday, Oct. 9. Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Chmuraon gameday* *from 6 to 7 p.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.
Also on Sunday, Hentrichwill be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Clubon the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'
Mark Chmura, selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 1992 NFL Draft, spent eight seasons with the Packers. The elite tight end was a contributor in both Super Bowl XXXI, where he scored the final points with a 2-point conversion catch, and Super Bowl XXXII, where he finished with 4 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. He finished his career with 188 receptions for 2,253 yards and 17 touchdowns. Chmura was elected to three Pro Bowls, in 1995, 1997 and 1998, and was enshrined in the Packers Hall of Fame in 2010.
Craig Hentrich began his Packers career in 1994 and spent four seasons with the team as a punter. Hentrich was a member of the Packers' formidable special teams that helped lead the club to a Super Bowl XXXI victory. Throughout his time in Green Bay, Hentrich had a 42.8-yard gross average over 289 punts, which is the second highest mark in team history. He also had 200 consecutive punts without a block between 1995 and 1997.
