Winner Selected By Fan Vote on NFL.com

DT Corey Williams of the Green Bay Packers is the GMC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK for games played on November 18 - 19, the NFL announced Thursday.

Williams posted four solo tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in the Packers' 31–17 win over the Carolina Panthers. His second-quarter sack and forced fumble ended a Carolina drive in Green Bay territory at the end of the half.

Williams was selected from among five finalists by voters on NFL.com. The other finalists were defensive end Shaun Ellis of the New York Jets, defensive end Patrick Kerney of the Seattle Seahawks, free safety Brodney Pool of the Cleveland Browns and cornerback Antrel Rolle of the Arizona Cardinals.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for GMC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com throughout the month of January.
