In this edition of Alumni Spotlight, Packers.com Senior Writer Mike Spofford sat down with former Packers punter Craig Hentrich. Hentrich talks about his ascent from the Packers practice squad to the team, doubling duties as a kicker, and memories of the 1996 team winning Super Bowl XXXI.
Craig Hentrich began his Packers career in 1994 and spent four seasons with the team as a punter. Hentrich was a member of the Packers' formidable special teams that helped lead the club to a Super Bowl XXXI victory. Throughout his time in Green Bay, Hentrich had a 42.8-yard gross average over 289 punts, which is the second-highest mark in team history. He also had 200 consecutive punts without a block between 1995 and 1997.
