Borrowing its name from the legendary Curly Lambeau, the man who put Green Bay on the professional sports map, the Green Bay Packers are set to open Curly's Pub, Sunday.

The restaurant and sports bar will be open year-round, offering Packers fans and others a casual, family-friendly, dining experience and a lot more. It will be operated by Levy Restaurants.

"Curly's Pub is another important element of the Lambeau Field Redevelopment project," said Bob Harlan, Green Bay Packers president/CEO.

"People will be able to come to Lambeau Field any day of the year and enjoy great food and refreshments, stop by the Pro Shop, visit the Packers Hall of Fame and check out everything else the new Lambeau Field has to offer. People around the world know about Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers and now they can come here and experience the Lambeau mystique even if they aren't able to get tickets to a game."

Curly's Pub includes four distinct areas: dining room, bar, banquet room and an interactive game area that includes three unique football simulation games designed by the Packers. The restaurant can accommodate up to 530 people for dinner.

Curly's Pub pays homage to the legendary founder of the Green Bay Packers. The unique décor highlights Curly Lambeau's impact on Green Bay's football history with rare photographs and other unique items.

All of the restaurant staff will be trained in Packers' history and the important role that Curly Lambeau played in it.

"We're very excited to be able to partner with the Green Bay Packers and to honor the tradition and legacy of Curly Lambeau," said Scott Kleckner of Levy Restaurants, Director of Operations for Curly's Pub. "We couldn't be any more excited about this incredible facility. We'll have great food in large portions, great service and a great atmosphere."

The dining room at Curly's will be full service, with lunch and dinner served daily.

"Imagine sinking your teeth into a 16-oz. Bone-in Rib-eye, Fried Shrimp or a 10-oz. Filet Mignon," said Leo Dominguez, Executive Chef of Curly's Pub.

"Our lunch menu will include several signature items, including Buffalo Chicken Ranch Salad, Walleye Caesar Sandwich and an assortment of Curly's Mini Burgers with Curly Fries. Guests will also want to top things off with something from our fabulous dessert menu, such as Frozen Tundra Ice Cream Landslide and Super Bowl Brownie Sundae. We've also created an excellent children's menu for those smaller appetites."

The sports bar area offers much of the same great menu and will serve food into the night in addition to lunch and dinner.

The banquet room will accommodate up to 60 people and is already booking heavily with more than 100 events.

In the interactive game area, players of all ages will be able to enjoy the action of the latest in interactive game technology, as well as the same great food items served in the sports bar.

The Lambeau Field Atrium is part of the $295 million redevelopment of Lambeau Field. The 365,000 square foot, five-story structure is designed as a year-round destination, offering restaurants, meeting and event facilities, an interactive fan zone, the Packers Pro Shop, the Packers Hall of Fame and other exciting features. The Atrium offers seating for up to 770 for weddings and 500 for corporate events.
