Packers fans planning their summer schedule can mark a few details on their calendars today as the organization announced dates for annual events.
The Green Bay Packers Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held Thursday, July 28, inside Lambeau Field, starting at 11 a.m. The meeting will take place rain or shine. Further information about the meeting will be sent to shareholders with their proxies in mid-June.
The eighth annual Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer is set for Friday, July 29. The motorcycle ride and post-ride tailgate party has raised more than $450,000 for cancer-related causes. Registration and pledge program details will be announced soon.
Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health is tentatively scheduled for Saturday evening, Aug. 6. This event date is contingent on a new collective bargaining agreement being in place and training camp underway. Ticket information will be released at a later date in conjunction with developments on a new CBA.
Fans should note the shareholders' meeting and Cruise for Cancer will take place regardless of whether a new CBA is in place. Packers Family Night will go on only with a new CBA. The organization will keep fans informed on plans for Family Night.
