GREEN BAY -- Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week for Week 7.

Last Thursday vs. Chicago at Lambeau Field, Adams caught 13 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Those were career highs in all categories.

Moreover, his 13 receptions tied him for second in the franchise record book for a single game. Don Hutson caught 14 and 13 passes in a pair of games back in 1942.

Both of Adams' touchdowns against Chicago came in the second half on back-to-back possessions as part of Green Bay's streak of three straight scoring drives. The TD passes were 5 and 4 yards in length.

Adams' previous career highs were 10 receptions vs. Detroit last season, and 121 yards vs. New England as a rookie in 2014.
