Davenport was out there just having fun

Packers.com Editor Vic Ketchman sat down with former Packers running back Najeh Davenport who talked about the camaraderie he built with the team and fans, his favorite games and playing with former quarterback Brett Favre.

Davenport, a fourth-round pick out of Miami, played four seasons for the Green Bay Packers. The powerful running back served as a productive complement to Ahman Green and averaged more than five yards a carry in 2003 and 2004, the latter year's total ranking fifth in the league among running backs. Davenport finished his career with 228 carries for 1,145 yards and eight touchdowns.
