DIGIORNO® Pizza, Packers Fans Try To Break Guinness World Record For Most Simultaneous High Fives

Pre-Game Celebrations To Benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin

This championship season, DIGIORNO pizza wants to enlist Green Bay's most passionate fans. On Thursday, Feb. 3, the "DIGIORNO High Five Challenge" will be held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. The lunchtime rally will determine whether local fans can break the Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous high fives. Football great Antonio Freeman will help lead the crowd to make high five history.

Fans will have even more reasons to celebrate during the High Five rallies, as DIGIORNO will provide free pizza slices and donate $5 for each participant to Feeding America* Eastern Wisconsin. Fans will begin to gather at 11:30 a.m. in the northeast corner of the Lambeau Field parking lot (corner of Oneida St and Lombardi Ave) as a giant clock counts down to the big High Five record-breaking attempt at 12:30 p.m.

"I know all about making award-winning catches, just like DIGIORNO knows all about making award-winning pizza," said Freeman. "The High Five rally has combined two of my favorite things, Green Bay football and pizza, so this is a no-brainer. I hope fans will come to the event on Thursday to get ready for the game."

DIGIORNO is extending the celebration beyond the High Five rallies with a special limited-time-only $5 SRP† offer on a variety of pizzas available at participating grocery retailers nationally.

"We want to congratulate Green Bay on their championship run and are excited to give fans a number of ways to be a part of the celebration, whether through a pre-game event or from the comfort of their living rooms," said Tom Moe, director of marketing for DIGIORNO. "With a Guinness World Record-breaking High Five attempt, we hope to help one team's fans make history in their hometown and keep the celebration going with DIGIORNO pizza, the perfect complement to any game day."
