Brett Favre
Editor's Note: In his latest NFL.com diary, Brett Favre commends the Packers defense for its effort in beating the Ravens, and he looks ahead to this week's game against the Vikings.
I'd like to start off by taking my hat off to our defense. Once again, they showed up huge, paving the way for us to win against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens. Getting four turnovers (two fumble recoveries and two interceptions) really helped the offense put some points up.
Antonio Freeman had one of the best games I have ever seen him play, totaling nine catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. If we want to get back to the Super Bowl, we have to continue to get the ball to Antonio.
The Ravens did a good job shutting down the run, but when we needed a big run from Ahman Green, he delivered, including an important third down run that helped us seal the game.
It doesn't get any easier either, having to go to Minnesota and play the Vikings. It's always a huge game when we get together, and this Sunday will be no exception. Randy Moss, Cris Carter and Daunte Culpepper always are a threat to put points on the board from anywhere on the field. It should be a good one.
Check back next week.
Sincerely,
Brett Favre
