Former Packers Bratkowski, Dowler to meet with fans this weekend

Former players at Packers Pro Shop Friday, Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club Saturday

Leading up to the Green Bay Packers Wild Card playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, Jan. 5, featured Packers alumni Zeke Bratkowski and Boyd Dowler will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Packers Pro Shop on Friday, Jan. 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Dowler on gameday* *from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Sunday, Bratkowski will be visiting with fans and signing autographs from during that same time in the Legends Clubon the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

Bratkowski, originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1954, was traded to the L.A. Rams in 1960 and was then obtained by the Packers through a mid-season trade in 1963. The veteran quarterback proved his worth as a capable backup to Bart Starr time and again, winning 10 of his 14 starts for the Packers. The University of Georgia alumnus played for the Packers from 1963-68 and during the 1971 season, and later served two stints as Packers assistant coach, from 1969-70 and from 1975-81. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1989.

Dowler, a highly decorated wide receiver, played 10 years (1959-69) for the Green Bay Packers. He was a two-time Pro Bowler and five-time NFL Champ, including the first two Super Bowls. He was knocked out of the game in the first quarter during Super Bowl I, but he made his presence felt early on in Super Bowl II, hauling in a 62-yard touchdown catch that helped the Packers beat the Oakland Raiders, 33-14. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1978.

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
