Former Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Joe Sims died April 26, 2024, at the age of 55. Sims played for the Packers from 1992-95 and started in 14 games in 1994. A funeral home in Lincoln, Neb., where Sims played college football for the University of Nebraska, posted an obituary but provided no details of his death other than the date.
