The Green Bay Packers today announced details for the team's complimentary, grassroots Youth Football Outreach Camp for Wisconsin elementary schools and youth groups.

The Packers' Youth Football Outreach Camp, which features educational benefits as well as recreational opportunities for kids in a safe and fun environment, is free and designed for second- through fifth-graders only.

Each camp will provide students with the opportunity to test their football skills in various drills and obstacle courses. Participants will rotate through a five-drill football camp that will last approximately 45 minutes.

The wide variety of drill stations will allow students to take part in a relay race, kick a ball, throw a pass, leap for a catch and dive for a touchdown.

Registration for the Packers' Youth Football Outreach Camp is now open. In order for schools or youth programs to host a Youth Football Outreach Camp, certain criteria must be met. Interested schools and youth groups may visit http://www.packers.com/community/schedule-youth-camp.html for further details.

The grassroots program, which will be held in spring, summer and fall, is being offered exclusively to schools located within 100 miles of Lambeau Field.

In conjunction with the NFL Play 60 program, the Packers' Youth Football Outreach Camp is designed to tackle childhood obesity by getting kids active through in-school, after-school and team-based programs.
