(Green Bay, WI)  The Green Bay Packers and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. have donated $275,000 to the Favre4Hope Foundation, the organizations announced today. The amount is the net proceeds from the Packers Hall of Fame induction ceremony stadium viewing event held July 18 in Lambeau Field.

All 67,000 available tickets, priced at $4 each, to view the induction ceremony on the Lambeau Field video boards were sold out within hours of going on sale. In addition to viewing the ceremony, the bowl event also featured Favre walking out the tunnel to midfield and participating in short question and answer session.

The ceremony itself, which took place in the Atrium, was also carried live by the Packers TV Network and the NFL Network, and streamed live on packers.com.

"We're proud that during such a special night for Brett and his family, we were also able to make a significant donation to his Foundation," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "Favre4Hope has done incredible work to benefit families in both Mississippi and Wisconsin, and it means a lot to us to be able to continue supporting their mission."

"We were pleased to be able to share in the excitement for Brett's Hall of Fame induction with so many of his greatest fans," said Perry Kidder, president of Packers Hall of Fame Inc. "It was an unforgettable evening, and we are endlessly grateful to those who purchased tickets to the bowl and made this significant donation possible."

"It was an awesome experience returning to Lambeau Field for the Hall of Fame induction and speaking to the fans in the stadium," said Favre. "Deanna and I are very grateful for this wonderful donation to our foundation. Thank you to the Packers, the Hall of Fame and all the fans who came to the event to make this possible."

The Favre4Hope Foundation is the Favre family's charity outreach foundation that distributes donations to non-profit organizations that provide support and services to disadvantaged and disabled children in Mississippi and Wisconsin. In 2005, after Deanna Favre completed her treatment for breast cancer, this mission was extended to include supporting organizations providing financial aid for breast cancer patients.

Since the inception of the Favre4Hope Foundation, over $7 million has been donated to charities in Wisconsin and Mississippi. The Favre4Hope Foundation does not solicit grant applications but instead has chosen to partner with several charities.
