Aspiring football players can learn from the pros as the Green Bay Packers have officially kicked off their annual Youth Football Camps for 2005.
The second of five summer camps is currently underway in Mequon, Wis., with three more camps to follow in Waukesha (July 11-July 15), Green Bay (July 18-July 22) and Kenosha (July 25-July 29).
A unique experience for children ages 6 to 14, Green Bay Packers Youth Camps offer children the opportunity to learn valuable football skills from experts in the game, including former Packers players.
The weeklong camp teaches children the fundamentals for each position in football through non-contact instruction, as well as the importance of sportsmanship, self-esteem and fitness.
In addition, two lucky children from each camp will be chosen as the "Packers Camp Leadership Award Winner," an honor that includes a free ticket to a Green Bay Packers preseason home game as well as recognition in front of 70,000 Packers fans.
