GREEN BAY stays home to host the eagles in week 10

• The Packers will host the Eagles in Week 10, the first meeting between the teams in Green Bay since the 2007 season opener. This will be the 13th meeting all-time between the clubs at Lambeau Field.
• Green Bay's four-game winning streak was snapped on Monday night with a 27-20 loss to the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. It also ended the Packers' 10-game home winning streak and their 10-game home winning streak against NFC North foes.
• The Packers have had a winning streak of four or more games each of the past five seasons (2009-13), the only NFL team to do so over that span. At 5-3 on the season, Green Bay is currently tied for first in the NFC North with Chicago and Detroit.
• This marks the fourth straight year (2010-13) that the Packers have been above .500 at the midway point of the season.
• This is the only time this season that the Packers have back-to-back games at home, the first time that has happened for Green Bay since 2008. The Packers do not have back-to-back road games on their schedule for the first time in franchise history.
• Sunday's contest marks the 38th time the Packers and Eagles have met in the regular season, with Green Bay holding a 24-13 edge in the series. The teams have met three times in the postseason, with Green Bay winning one of those games.
• Green Bay has won three straight games against the Eagles, including a 2010 Wild Card win in Philadelphia that was the start of the Packers' run to the Super Bowl XLV title.
• It will be a matchup of the top two teams in the NFC since 2000. Green Bay has a 136-80 regular-season record (.630) over that span, No. 1 in the conference, while Philadelphia checks in at No. 2 (129-87-1, .597).
• Since 1992, there have been only two seasons (1999, 2005) that didn't feature either the Packers or the Eagles or both clubs in the playoffs.
• Sunday will be a matchup of two of the top offenses in the league this season. Green Bay ranks No. 2 in the NFL with an average of 423.0 yards per game and Philadelphia ranks No. 4 in the league with an average of 413.2 yards per game. The Packers and Eagles are the only two teams in the league to rank in the top 10 in both rushing and passing offense.
• The Packers have won 10 of their last 11 regular-season games at home and 23 of their last 25 (.920) at Lambeau Field.
• Green Bay has won 17 of its last 18 regular-season games at Lambeau Field that were played Nov. 1 or later.
• The Packers enter Sunday's contest having won 33 of their last 42 regular-season games, a .786 winning percentage that ranks No. 2 in the NFLover that span behind only New England (34-9, .791).

• Milwaukee's WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since 1929, heads up the 50-station Packers Radio Network, with Wayne Larrivee(play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro BowlerLarry McCarren (color) calling the action. The duo is in its 15th season of broadcasts together across the Packers Radio Network, which covers 42 markets in six states.
• WestwoodOne Sports will air the game across the country. Tom McCarthy(play-by-play) and Mark Malone (analyst) will call the action and Scott Grahamhosts pregame and halftime shows.
• The broadcast is also available on SiriusXM Satellite Radio (WTMJ feed) as part of the network's NFL Sunday Drive.

LAST MEETING, REGULAR SEASON

• Sept. 12, 2010, at Lincoln Financial Field; Packers won, 27-20.
• The Packers jumped out to a 20-3 lead in the third quarter and then hung on as QB Michael Vick took over for an injured Kevin Kolb for the Eagles. 
• Packers LB Clay Matthews had three of Green Bay's six sacks, one of them knocking Kolb from the game. Vick took over and proceeded to rush for 103 yards and throw for 175 in bringing the Eagles back.
• Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw TD passes to WRs Donald Driver and Greg Jennings, the latter a 32-yarder for a 27-10 lead late in the third. Green Bay lost RB Ryan Grant for the season to an ankle injury in the second quarter, but Grant and Brandon Jackson combined for 108 yards on the ground.
• Within seven points in the final minutes, the Eagles drove to the Green Bay 42-yard line, but Matthews and a host of defenders combined to stuff Vick on a fourth-and-1 sneak to seal the win.

stat of the week

• In Green Bay's loss to Chicago on Monday night, RB James Starks scored on a 32-yard TD run, matching his career-long TD run (32 yards vs. Washington this season in Week 2).
• For Starks, it marked his second straight game that he posted a TD run of 25-plus yards (25-yard TD at Minnesota in Week 8). He became the first Packer to accomplish that feat since RB Ryan Grant did so in Weeks 16-17 of 2007.
• Starks has now had three 25-yard scoring runs in his last four games. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Starks is the first player in franchise history to have three TD runs of 25-plus yards over a four-game span in the same season.
• Starks is the only player in the NFL this season to post three TD runs of 25-plus yards.
• Starks has rushed for 284 yards and a career-high three TDs on 47 carries (6.0 avg.) this season.
