Wisconsin independent retailer Boston Incorporated announced Thursday that purchases made in their eight stores through New Year's Day 2008 are free if the Green Bay Packers win pro football's championship game Feb. 3, 2008.

Doing business in eight locations statewide, Boston Inc is Furniture & ApplianceMart in De Pere, Oshkosh, Plover, Rhinelander and Wausau, and Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Appleton, Green Bay and Plover. Combined, these eight locations offer furniture, bedding, electronics and appliances by leading manufacturers at price points ranging from entry level to luxury line.

Dispelling the notion that this event is 'too good to be true', Bill Fonti, president and chief executive officer of Boston Inc explained, "It's true. Purchases made this week will be free if the Packers bring the title back to Titletown on Feb. 3."

Fonti added, "Similar promotions have run with other sporting teams across the nation, but these typically include long lists of exclusions. Our event includes purchases throughout all departments. There is definitely something in our stores for every Packers fan. And that something could be free if they win!"

There is no minimum purchase amount to participate. To be eligible for the cash redemption, purchases must be made by Jan. 1, 2008, and the event terms followed completely. All locations are open seven days a week and will remain open during the holiday weekend for this event. Holiday hours are New Year's Eve, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and New Year's Day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Alternate forms of entry are available in all eight stores to any person not purchasing during this promotion, who still wishes to participate in the event. However, alternate forms of entry must also be received by Boston Inc before Jan. 1, 2008, to be eligible. Visit the stores for complete details.

"As Packers fans ourselves, we're excited to offer this event to other Wisconsin fans, and look forward to a win on February 3." Fonti stated.

"This is a great opportunity for fans to show their Packers pride and support an independent retailer at the same time," said Sara Webb, Packers corporate sales account executive.
