John 'Red' Cochran, a long-serving member of the Green Bay Packers family, passed away Sunday morning at the age of 82.

Originally brought to Green Bay in 1959 by Vince Lombardi, Cochran served the organization 42 years in all, 12 as an assistant coach and the last 30 as a college scout.

The Club extends its sympathies to the Cochran family, and would like to announce visitation and funeral arrangements.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 9 at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow a visitation Friday, September 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, also in De Pere. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral at 11:00.
