Lambeau Field is ready for Sunday's home opener against the Detroit Lions, which will also serve as a tribute to Packers alumni as part of the Packers' traditional alumni weekend celebration. The returning alumni will be introduced from the field during halftime.
Additionally, two featured alumni are scheduled to make appearances Sunday; Derrick MayesandFrank Winterswill be taking part in fan activities at the Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club, respectively, leading up to kickoff.
The 30th Annual Packers Women's Association Food Drive, coordinated with Paul's Pantry will take place prior to the game in the Lambeau Field parking lot, beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday. PWA members and Paul's Pantry volunteers will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations prior to kickoff in the stadium parking lot and at the gates.
As Sunday's game is the Packers' home opener, the team is reminding fans to take extra care when purchasing game tickets from secondary sources. Fans are advised to buy tickets only from official sources and team partners such as NFL Ticket Exchange.Fans are encouraged to be diligent and do research before choosing to buy tickets from unofficial sources.
The organization also is reminding game attendees that all fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors, a league-wide mandate for use at all NFL stadium gates. The most efficient way through the detectors will be via express lanes, which can be found at each gate and used by fans entering the stadium without any bags or stadium seats. As in previous years, no bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12". Small clutches that do not exceed 4.5" by 6.5" are permitted. Stadium cushions are also not allowed, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18" wide or smaller are allowed. Prior to the national anthem, the Packers and WPS Health Solutions will be recognizing Rachel Petri-Rose through Operation Fan Mailon the field. The national anthem will be performed by country singer Adam Craig. A flyover will be performed by two F-16 fighter jets, supported by the Wisconsin Air National Guard 115th Fighter Wing.

During halftime, the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE and Camera Corner, will feature players fromAppleton North High School and Appleton East High Schoolin an on-field competition.
Also taking place Sunday is the premier gameday tailgate party in the Tundra Tailgate Zone (TTZ) in the Lambeau Field parking lot. The TTZ is open to all fans, even those without tickets to the game, and features live bands, alumni autographs and food and beverages.
