Lambeau Field is ready for Saturday night's game between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. The contest, the Packers' final home game of the regular season, will serve as the Fan Appreciation Game, with extra game giveaways and special promotions to thank the fans for their support during the season.
During halftime, Chevrolet, the official vehicle of the Green Bay Packers and the sponsor of Saturday's game, will choose one lucky fan to win a brand new Chevrolet vehicle through an on-field contest. The contest winner will be among a group of six preselected Chevrolet sweepstakes finalists.
Additional giveaways for fans will include a cabin for two aboard the Packers Legends Cruise, Chula Vista getaways, Ariens Sno-thros, Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage grills and a Cenex gift card.
The Packers and Delaware North will be offering free hot chocolate, limited to two per customer, during Saturday's game to help fans battle the forecasted cold. The free hot chocolate will be available at each concession stand with hot chocolate on the menu.
Saturday's game tickets feature a photograph from Ryan Messatzzia of Delmar, Del., the winner of the "Packers Ticket Takeover Contest, sponsored by American Family Insurance." Messatzzia's photo features him dressed up in a Tony Canadeo jersey holding his young son, Miles, who was dressed up like a football. The Messatzzia family will attend Saturday's game together.
Two featured alumni are scheduled to make appearances Saturday; Ken Stills and Randy Wright will be taking part in fan activities at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village and Legends Club, respectively, leading up to kickoff.
The pregame festivities will also honor Charles LaRock from Shawano, Wis., as the "Shopko Kick-Off Kid." The 11-year-old organized a food pantry for those in need in his community. Learn more about Shopko's Kids Making a Difference at **shopko.com/kickoffkid**.
Prior to the national anthem, the Packers and WPS Health Solutions will be recognizing Jeff Brickson and his family through Operation Fan Mail on the field.
The national anthem will be performed by country duo Walker McGuire.
At the two-minute warning of the first half, Amanda Witzlib from Germantown, Wis., the winner of the Pick 'n Save Ultimate Leap Sweepstakes, will have the opportunity to do a Lambeau Leap in the north end zone. The contest is presented by USA TODAY NETWORK – Wisconsin.
During halftime, the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE and Camera Corner, will feature players from state champions Rice Lake and Lodi High Schools in an on-field competition.
A stocking, compliments of Chevrolet, will be distributed to fans as the giveaway item at the game.
