NEW CONCESSION CHOICES OFFERED; FANS REMINDED ABOUT TIMES, POLICIES
Saturday night's 2007 preseason home opener featuring Green Bay vs. Seattle will see Lambeau Field's concession stands offer some new selections for fans, courtesy of Levy Restaurants, the company that oversees all food and beverage operations at the facility.
A new concession concept, Lambeau Links, will provide guests with grilled brats, sausage and hot dogs garnished with many new and exciting toppings. New items featured include the Cheddar Brat, a jumbo bratwurst topped with cheddar cheese and sauerkraut; the Wisconsin Dawg, a foot-long hot dog topped with cheddar cheese and sauerkraut; a Polish Sausage topped with sauerkraut; an Italian Sausage topped with grilled peppers and onions; and the Packer Backer, a jumbo hot dog topped with melted cheese and relish.
In the Draft Pick concession stands fans will be able to accompany their cold beer with Old Wisconsin's finest beef sticks.
Other new items include a chicken strip sandwich, which will be served on a bun with lettuce and tomato. Fans will also get a chance to remember their Lambeau experience for years to come with our new 130 oz. souvenir popcorn tub as well as a new design celebrating 50 years at Lambeau Field on thermal coffee mugs.
On the Associated Bank Club Level, fans can stop at 'Grandma's Diner' for items such as the Meatloaf Sandwich, Patty Melt, Pot Roast Sandwich and Fried Chicken Sandwich, each with appropriate sides. Also in the club area is the 'Border Café,' featuring offerings such as a pulled pork burrito and Chicken Quesadillas.
New beverage options this season include Stella Artois, Sparks Plus and Miller Chill in the Draft Picks concession stands.
Other Notes for Fans: The new security barrier is completed and landscaped. Fans will notice the comfortable walkway between the outer wall of the stadium and the barrier as it encircles Lambeau Field from the north to south around the west side. On the parking lot front, ADA parking has not been affected and other parking clients that were relocated have been accommodated in three areas: a new lot across Ridge Road, in a portion of the media parking area and on the east side of the stadium.
The parking lots will open for game attendees Saturday at 3 p.m. (four hours prior to kickoff), with stadium gates opening at 4:45 p.m. (2 hours, 15 minutes prior to kickoff).
All fans entering Lambeau Field are reminded that they will be subject to and should expect to be patted down by security personnel before going through stadium gates as a continuation of security measures in place since 2001. Fans are encouraged to arrive early at stadium gates to help facilitate this security measure.
Fans also are reminded of the carry-in policy which prohibits bags, backpacks, duffel bags, fanny packs and umbrellas, as are food and beverages, video cameras and still photo cameras with lenses over 12 inches. The following exceptions are worth noting: Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are allowed if carried loosely (not in a bag). Small purses, not exceeding 8x10x12 inches, are permitted but subject to search. Small cameras, binoculars and cellular phones are acceptable if carried loosely (not in a case). Stadium seats consisting of no more than a seat cushion and back rest are permitted as long as they are not wider than 18 inches.
Fan assistance centers are located on the main concourse (Section 109), upper concourse (Section 353) and guest relations desk in the Atrium. Fans may also contact ushers or security personnel for issues that need to be addressed.
