GREEN BAY – Safety LeRoy Butler is officially back on the ballot for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022.

The four-time All-Pro selection was among the 122 modern-era nominees for enshrinement in Canton, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Wednesday.

Butler, the first player in NFL history to record 20 interceptions and 20 sacks in a career, has been a finalist each of the past two years. He's the only member of the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team that has yet to enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Other former Packers on the preliminary modern-era nominee list include two members of the Super Bowl XLV championship team, receiver Donald Driver and safety Nick Collins.

Kicker Ryan Longwell, who held the franchise scoring record until surpassed by Mason Crosby, is a nominee as well, along with eight players who had stops in Green Bay but played the bulk of their careers elsewhere – receiver Andre Rison, tight end Wesley Walls, center Jeff Saturday, punter Sean Landeta, running back/returner Eric Metcalf, linebackers Seth Joyner and Hardy Nickerson, and cornerback/returner Allen Rossum.
