Hey all you football fans and draft gurus, time is running out to take the Packers.com Draft Day Challenge for a chance to win cool prizes, including footballs autographed by Ahman Green, Nick Barnett or Tony Fisher!
All you have to do is predict who the Packers will select with their first pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, but you must submit your prediction by noon CT, Friday (April 23).
Here's how it the contest works:
Through noon CT, Friday, fans can log on to Packers.com and try and predict the identity of the player the Packers will choose first in the 2004 NFL Draft, held in New York City, April 24-25.
Participants must be at least 13-years-old and must fill out the entire entry form to be eligible. Only one entry per person will be accepted and all entries must be submitted by noon CT, April 23.
Currently, the Packers are slated to pick 25th overall in this year's draft; however, it is possible that the Packers could trade up or back in the draft on or before draft day. Fans should take this into consideration when they make their picks, because once submitted all predictions are final (see below for further clarification).
All those who correctly predict the Packers' first pick will have their names displayed at Packers.com following the draft. Three lucky winners, drawn at random from that pool, will win one of the following prize packages:
- Ahman Green autographed football, NFL/Motorola inflatable cooler, Packers vinyl poncho, Wilson Packers-logo golf balls, Wilson leather 2004 planner and a Lambeau Field keychain.
- Nick Barnett autographed football, Tasco binoculars, Wilson leather 2004 planner and a Lambeau Field keychain.
- Tony Fisher autographed football, Legend of Lambeau Field DVD, Wilson leather 2004 planner and a Lambeau Field keychain.
In the event that no one correctly predicts the Packers' first pick of the NFL draft, or if less than three individuals guess correctly, remaining prize packages will be distributed by random drawing.
Remember, once submitted all predictions are final and may not be changed or otherwise re-submitted. If you think the Packers might make any transactions prior to the draft or on draft day that will affect your prediction (i.e. acquiring a player in free agency or trading from their current position with the 25th overall selection), take that into consideration before submitting your prediction.
Participants are only required to identify the Packers' first pick of the draft. They do not need to predict whether the Packers have to trade up or down from their current position with the 25th overall selection to acquire that player. In the event the Packers trade out of the first round and don't select until the second round, or later, Packers.com will still recognize all correct predictions.
