Limited lanes are still available for the Packers Give Back Celebrity Bowling Event presented by Nestlé at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley on Wednesday, June 6.
Packers players, coaches and alumni will participate in the event, with proceeds benefitting the College Comeback Program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), a scholarship program that provides a second chance to returning adult students, many of whom are supporting a family and working multiple jobs while finishing their education.
Area businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the effort by purchasing a lane to join the fun-filled evening and bowl with a member of the Green Bay Packers family.
With limited lanes remaining, those interested in attending the event are reminded to register as soon as possible at **http://packers.com/packersbowlingevent** or by contacting the Packers' community outreach department at 920/569-7500.
Lanes are available for $1,000 and will include a team of four bowlers per lane, with each team to be joined by one Packers celebrity. All participants will receive a gift and team photo, a shirt, their company sign displayed above their lane, plus access to the Nestlé Family Fun Night Buffet.
Registration for the evening begins at 6 p.m., with the bowling event and silent auction to start at 6:30. The silent auction will feature autographed Packers memorabilia, in addition to other items.
The College Comeback Program at NWTC provides scholarships for returning adult students, offering not only financial assistance, but a renewed sense of hope for a better future.
The NWTC Educational Foundation is dedicated to removing barriers that so many students face as they try to earn a degree or diploma and ensuring that each student, regardless of his or her financial situation, will have access to education.
The Packers Give Back Celebrity Bowling Event is a part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the Packers' all-encompassing community outreach initiative, which includes the Green Bay Packers Foundation, appearances made by players, alumni, coaches and staff, youth football outreach, cash and in-kind donations, Make-A-Wish visits, and community events.
