Lucas, Nichols Named To All-NFL Europe League Team

Packers wide receiver Chad Lucas and defensive tackle Jerome Nichols were named to the All-NFL Europe League team. The NFLEL made the announcement Thursday at World Bowl Media Day at the LTU Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Lucas, who started nine of 10 games at wide receiver for the Amsterdam Admirals, led NFLEL with eight touchdowns in the regular season, while finishing second on the team in receptions with 27 for 440 yards.

Nichols, who started all 10 games at left defensive tackle for the Frankfurt Galaxy, tied for a league-leading six sacks, while also logging 29 tackles (27 solo).

Lucas, along with Packers teammates safety Atari Bigby, wide receiver Vince Butler and tight end Tory Humphrey, will go head-to-head with Nichols when the Admirals face the Galaxy in Yello Strom World Bowl XIV, Saturday May 27.

The NFL Network will broadcast the game in the United Stats at 12:00 PM ET.
