Marco Rivera the hard-nosed battler

In this edition of Alumni Spotlight, Packers.com Senior Writer Mike Spofford sat down with former Packers guard Marco Rivera. Rivera talks about the impressive offensive line in 2003, his seven-year tenure at guard, and his most memorable games.

Marco Rivera was selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 1996 draft and spent nine seasons with the team (1996-2004). He started seven consecutive seasons at guard, the second-longest streak for a guard in team history. Consistently paving the way for successful offenses, Rivera was selected to three Pro Bowls (2002-04). Rivera was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2011.
