Wide receiver TERRELL OWENS of the Dallas Cowboys, defensive end PATRICK KERNEY of the Seattle Seahawks, and kicker MASON CROSBY of the Green Bay Packers are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Month for November, the NFL announced Thursday.

OFFENSE: WR TERRELL OWENS, DALLAS COWBOYS

Owens' performance helped the Cowboys post a perfect 5-0 record during November as the team averaged 33.6 points per game. Owens led the NFL with 37 catches, 693 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 138.6 yards per game in the month. The wide receiver had four games with 125 yards and scored at least one touchdown in all five contests during November. Owens opened the month with 174 yards and one touchdown against Philadelphia and followed that with 125 yards and two TDs versus the New York Giants. Against Washington, Owens was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, recording 173 yards and four TDs, tying a franchise record. He added 65 yards and a score on Thanksgiving versus the New York Jets and finished the month with 156 yards and one TD against Green Bay.

In his 12th season from Tennessee-Chattanooga, this is Owens' first Player of the Month Award. He is the first wide receiver in franchise history to be honored.

DEFENSE: DE PATRICK KERNEY, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Kerney led the NFL with seven sacks and added 16 tackles, an interception, three forced fumbles and a pass defensed as the Seahawks went 3-1 during the month. Kerney had a sack and a forced fumble in the Week 10 win over San Francisco and then followed that up with back-to-back three-sack performances. In Week 11 against Chicago, Kerney had three sacks, a forced fumble and a pass defensed. He finished November with three sacks, a forced fumble and an interception in the Seahawks' victory over St. Louis.

In his ninth season from Virginia, this is Kerney's second Player of the Month Award (September 2004 with Atlanta). He joins MICHAEL MC CRARY (December 1996) as the only defensive ends in team history to be honored.

SPECIAL TEAMS: K MASON CROSBY, GREEN BAY PACKERS

The rookie led all NFL kickers with 54 points during the month and tied for the lead with 12 field goals as the Packers posted a 4-1 mark. Crosby converted 12 of 15 field goals during November and was a perfect 18-for-18 on PATs. The sixth-round pick (No. 193) had at least one field goal in every game, including four in the Week 9 win at Kansas City. His long was a 52-yarder in the Week 13 contest at Dallas. For the season, Crosby ties for the NFL lead with 107 points scored and his 24 field goals rank first in the NFC.

In his rookie season from Colorado, this is Crosby's first Player of the Month Award. Crosby is the third Green Bay kicker to be honored, joining CHRIS JACKE (October 1996) and RYAN LONGWELL (September 2002, October 2004 and December 2004).
