GREEN BAY – As the Packers prepared for Sunday's game with the Baltimore Ravens, quarterback Aaron Rodgers was participating in rehab drills off to the side during Wednesday's practice inside the Don Hutson Center.

It was the first time Rodgers has been seen on the field since breaking his collarbone against the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 15, running through some conditioning and footwork drills before simulating his throwing motion with a towel.

Head Coach Mike McCarthy told reporters the two-time MVP quarterback is "moving right along" during his news conference prior to Thursday's practice.

"I think he's making really good progress," McCarthy said. "I know the training staff and strength and conditioning staff are pleased with where he is."

Rodgers, placed on injured reserve on Oct. 20, is not eligible to practice for another two weeks and at least another month, but his rehab appearance drew reviews from the Packers locker room.

"We've still got to wait but it's good to see," linebacker Clay Matthews said. "At the same time, we've still got to hold up our end of the bargain and steal a few wins throughout these next several weeks in hopes that we've got a shot with him coming back. We started with one last week. Hopefully we can get another one this week."

Fourth-year cornerback Demetri Goodson returned to practice for the first time since tearing his ACL last November in Washington. Goodson is eligible to remain on the physically unable to perform list for 21 days before the Packers must decide whether to active him.

"It's great to see him out there," McCarthy said. "Hopefully, he keeps progressing. It's been a long road. Everyone is excited to see him back flying around. It's been a long recovery."

Running back Ty Montgomery (ribs) and safety Morgan Burnett (groin) will be in the rehab program during Thursday's practice, according to McCarthy. Neither practiced Wednesday.
