Starting in April, pro football fans will have the opportunity to see future NFL stars competing for a World Bowl championship as NFL Network televises 22 games from the 2004 NFL Europe League season.

NFL Network's coverage begins in primetime on Saturday, April 3 at 8 pm (ET) when the Amsterdam Admirals travel to Germany to take on the defending champion Frankfurt Galaxy in the season opener. NFL Europe on NFL Network continues through the final week of the regular season on Sunday, June 6.

Coverage of the six-team league, now in its 12th season, marks the first time live games will air on NFL Network. This summer, NFL Network will feature select live NFL preseason games.

Chad Hutchinson, former starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, is among the 240-plus current NFL players allocated so far to NFL Europe for the 2004 season. NFL Europe has been a proving ground for many top NFL players including Super Bowl starting quarterbacks Jake Delhomme, Brad Johnson and Kurt Warner as well as Pro Bowl players La'Roi Glover of the Dallas Cowboys, Dante Hall of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Adam Vinatieri of the New England Patriots.

Throughout NFL Europe's 10-week regular season, NFL Network will air games in primetime every week on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 pm (ET). Current and former NFL players will provide game analysis, including Muhsin Muhammad (Carolina Panthers), Darren Woodson (Dallas Cowboys), Darren Sharper (Green Bay Packers) and Kyle Brady (Jacksonville Jaguars).

In addition to live telecasts of NFL Europe games and NFL preseason games, NFL Network features original programming including its signature show, NFL Total Access, hosted by Rich Eisen, which continues to be the source for the latest news and information about the NFL.

NFL Network is carried on DIRECTV's basic service that is seen in more than 12.2 million homes on Channel 212, and is also available on Voom's satellite service on Channel 312 as well as on cable via Charter Communications and Insight Communications. To get NFL Network, call 866-NFL-NETWORK.
