Packers activate T Jason Spriggs from I.R.

Kerridge signed to 53-man roster, Bulaga placed on I.R.

The Green Bay Packers signed FBJoe Kerridgeto the active roster from the practice squad, activated T Jason Spriggs from reserve/injured; designated for return and placed T Bryan Bulaga on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Saturday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Kerridge (KAIR-idge), a 6-foot, 245-pound second-year player out of the University of Michigan, originally signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2016. After being released by Washington on Sept. 3, 2016, he was briefly on the Redskins' practice squad. Kerridge was signed to the Packers' practice squad on Oct. 3, 2016, and signed to Green Bay's active roster on Nov. 7, 2016. He appeared in eight regular-season games and a postseason contest for the Packers last season, playing primarily on special teams. Kerridge was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 2 and later released. He was signed to Green Bay's practice squad on Oct. 30.

Spriggs, a 6-foot-6, 301-pound second-year player out of Indiana University, was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 21. He played in the season opener and was inactive in Week 2. After being selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Spriggs played in 16 regular-season games with two starts and appeared in three postseason contests as a rookie. While he saw time at both tackle spots, both starts came at right guard.
