Packers And USA Football To Host Officiating Seminar May 3

Educational and Entertaining Workshop for Youth, High School and Collegiate Officials

The Green Bay Packers and USA Football will host an officiating seminar at Lambeau Field on Sunday, May 3.

NFL umpire Tony Michalek and Big Ten referee Bill LeMonnier will lead the workshop designed for youth, high school and collegiate officials. The full-day comprehensive training includes teaching by NFL and NCAA Division I officials. Unique and interesting plays from the 2008 high school and college seasons will be used to discuss mechanics, philosophy and rules applications for all levels of officiating.

The event is priced at $75 with registration currently underway. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with online registration available at www.usafootball.com/schools/details/2880.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day includes lunch, surprise guests and giveaways.
