GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed receiver Christian Watson (knee) and defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. (foot) as questionable and ruled out five others for Sunday's regular-season finale vs. Chicago.
The five who won't play against the Bears are linebacker Quay Walker (ankle), safety Evan Williams (quadricep), tackle Andre Dillard (concussion), safety Zayne Anderson (concussion) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee).
On Friday, Watson practiced in a limited capacity for the first time since injuring his knee in the Packers' 34-0 win over New Orleans in Week 16.
"It was good, it really was," said Head Coach Matt LaFleur of Watson's return. "It was good to get him back out there, kind of get him back in the flow of things. So that was, that was encouraging."
Cox didn't not practice this week after playing through a foot injury against the Vikings on Sunday, but Green Bay is leaving the door open for the second-year defensive end to play.
The Packers didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: running back Josh Jacobs (wrist), running back Chris Brooks (ankle), safety Javon Bullard (ankle), guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (rest), tight end Tucker Kraft (rest), and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (concussion).
Chicago has ruled out safety Elijah Hicks (ankle/foot), running back Travis Homer (hamstring) and offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (calf).
The Bears didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: receiver Rome Odunze (illness), cornerback Kyler Gordon (illness), guard Larry Borom (illness), safety Tarvarius Moore (knee), and long snapper Scott Daly (personal).
