GREEN BAY to host browns for first time since 2005
- The Packers will host the Cleveland Browns this Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Lambeau Field, the Browns' first visit to Green Bay since a Week 2 contest in 2005.
- The Packers improved to 3-2 on the season with a 19-17 victory over the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday. Green Bay became the first NFC club to emerge victorious at M&T Bank Stadium since the Carolina Panthers won there in Week 6 of 2006.
- This will be just the third time that the Packers and Browns have squared off at Lambeau Field in the regular season, with the other meetings coming in 2001 and 2005. From 1953-83, the Packers played host to the Browns in Milwaukee five times during the regular season.
- The series includes one postseason meeting, the 1965 NFL Championship played at Lambeau Field and won by the Packers, 23-12. Green Bay holds a 10-7-0 edge in the all-time regular-season series.
- The last meeting between the clubs also came in Week 7, a 2009 contest in Cleveland that the Packers won, 31-3.
- The two franchises have produced some of the greatest teams and players the league has ever seen. The Packers rank second among all teams with players enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame with 22, while the Browns are sixth with 16. Green Bay has won 13 NFL championships, while Cleveland has four titles.
- For Green Bay, this will be the third contest against an AFC North foe in its last four games. The Packers played at Cincinnati in Week 3 and at Baltimore in Week 6. Green Bay rounds out its AFC North games in Week 16 vs. Pittsburgh, the Packers' regular-season home finale.
- Including their meeting with the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV, the Packers have won eight of their last 11 games against AFC foes.
- Green Bay enters Sunday's contest having won six of its last seven games at Lambeau Field against teams from the AFC.
- The Packers have won nine straight regular-season games at home and 22 of their last 23 (.957). Green Bay's current home winning streak ranks No. 3 in the NFL behind Seattle (11 games) and Denver (10).
- Including playoffs, Green Bay has held its opponent to 20 points or less in nine of its last 10 games at Lambeau Field, allowing an average of 14.9 points per game over that span at home.
- On Sunday, the Packers will be wearing a third jersey that is a re-creation of the team's uniform from 1929, the year of Green Bay's first world title. Green Bay last wore the uniforms in 2011 vs. St. Louis in Week 6, a 24-3 Packers win (see page 4 for a breakdown of the previous games with a third jersey in franchise history).
- This week's game is one of only two currently scheduled for 3:25 p.m. at Lambeau Field this season, with the other one slated for Week 16 vs. Pittsburgh.

- The Packers will make their first of two scheduled appearances this season on CBS. The network will air the contest to a regional audience.
- Play-by-play man Kevin Harlanand color analystSolomon Wilcots will have the call from the broadcast booth.
- Milwaukee's WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since 1929, heads up the 50-station Packers Radio Network, with Wayne Larrivee(play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro BowlerLarry McCarren (color) calling the action. The duo is in its 15th season of broadcasts together across the Packers Radio Network, which covers 42 markets in six states.
- Compass Media Networks will broadcast the game to a national audience with Matt Smith (play-by-play) andTony Hill (analyst) handling the call.
- The broadcast is also available on SiriusXM Satellite Radio (WTMJ feed) as part of the network's NFL Sunday Drive.
- DIRECTV subscribers can watch the game in HD on Channel 713.

- Lacy became the third Green Bay RB to top the 100-yard rushing mark in a game this season, joining James Starks(132 yards vs. Washington in Week 2) and Johnathan Franklin (103 yards at Cincinnati in Week 3).
- According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Packers became the first NFL team since the 1989 Washington Redskins (Gerald Riggs, Jamie Morris, Earnest Byner) to havethree different running backs top the 100-yard mark in the first five games of a season.
- With three different RBs already recording 100-yard games this season, the Packers have tied the single-season franchise mark for the most 100-yard rushers in a season.
